# LeBron James Leads 76ers Past Knicks Again as Philadelphia Takes 2–0 Season Series Lead! 🔥🏀

The Philadelphia 76ers are making a statement against the New York Knicks this season. On Friday night, October 30, Philadelphia secured a hard-fought 98–93 victory in an NBA Cup group-stage matchup, extending its winning record against the Knicks to two games this season.

LeBron James was at the centre of the action, delivering an impressive performance that reminded fans why he remains one of basketball’s biggest names. He finished with 20 points, nine rebounds and eight assists, coming agonisingly close to recording a triple-double.

The game went down to the wire, with the Knicks briefly taking a 90–89 lead after Jalen Brunson knocked down a three-pointer with just over a minute remaining. But James responded with a crucial fadeaway shot to put Philadelphia back in front, changing the momentum at a decisive moment.

Tyrese Maxey also played a major role in the victory, leading the 76ers with 27 points. Anfernee Simons added 21 points, while V.J. Edgecombe delivered an important late three-pointer that helped Philadelphia protect its advantage.

For New York, Jalen Brunson finished with 24 points, while Karl-Anthony Towns contributed 22 points and 12 rebounds. Despite their efforts, the Knicks could not complete the comeback as Philadelphia held on for the five-point win.

The victory gives the 76ers a 2–0 advantage over the Knicks this season, a notable turnaround after previously losing six consecutive matchups against them. LeBron’s late-game contribution has fans talking, but the big question remains: are the 76ers becoming a serious threat to the defending champions this season?
