🏈 Seattle Seahawks Take Aim at Taylor Swift After Beating the Chiefs on Sunday Night Football

The Seattle Seahawks are celebrating a memorable victory over the Kansas City Chiefs after their Sunday Night Football matchup ended with Seattle winning 20–3. The result gave Seahawks fans plenty to celebrate, while Chiefs supporters were left disappointed by their team’s performance. But beyond the action on the field, the headline has sparked another conversation involving pop superstar Taylor Swift and the attention surrounding her relationship with Travis Kelce.

Seattle’s social media team added a playful twist to the victory by posting a photo of friendship bracelets spelling out “Seahawks” and “Win,” accompanied by the caption “End Game.” The phrase references Taylor’s 2017 song of the same name from her Reputation album, while the bracelets are closely associated with the friendship-bracelet tradition popularized by her Eras Tour.

The Seahawks’ mascot, Blitz, also joined the fun. In a separate post, the mascot appeared in a glittery outfit inspired by Taylor’s concert style, alongside the caption “Lately, I’ve been dressin’ for revenge,” a reference to her song “Vigilante Sh—.” The posts quickly caught the attention of football fans and Swifties, many of whom recognized the musical references immediately.

Reactions across social media were mixed. Some fans enjoyed Seattle’s cheeky celebration, seeing it as harmless sports banter after a convincing win. Others felt the team could have celebrated its players without bringing Taylor into the rivalry, especially since she was not seen attending the game in Seattle. The exchange quickly became another example of how football rivalries and celebrity culture can collide online.

Despite the Chiefs’ disappointing defeat, Travis Kelce still reached important career milestones during the game. He recorded four catches for 44 yards, adding to his remarkable NFL career even as Kansas City struggled to find its rhythm offensively. Patrick Mahomes and the Chiefs will now face pressure to respond in their next matchup and show that one difficult night will not define their season.

For Taylor’s supporters, the Seahawks’ posts have created another lively debate about whether celebrity references are fair game in professional sports. Some see the jokes as part of the entertainment surrounding the NFL, while others believe the focus should remain on the players and the game itself. Either way, Seattle’s victory has generated conversations well beyond the final score.

What do you think? Was the Seahawks’ Taylor Swift-inspired trolling funny and clever, or did the team go too far by bringing Travis Kelce’s wife into its victory celebration? Share your opinion in the comments! 🏈❤️
