According to a report by Page Six on Oct 24, a source close to the actress claims she isn’t just unbothered – she’s relieved that her ex-fiancé, Machine Gun Kelly (MGK), appears to be moving on with actress Dakota Johnson.

“Megan isn’t just unbothered by MGK dating Dakota — she’s actually relieved he’s moving on,” the source told Page Six, adding she “genuinely wants him to find happiness with someone else because she’s totally done with that chapter.”

The report comes after MGK was spotted with Dakota on several occasions – NYC on Sept 12 (at Taylor Swift’s Tribeca apartment then dinner at Estela) and LA Oct 15-16 day-to-night outings in his Maserati – sparking speculation that something romantic might be developing. Neither has publicly confirmed a relationship.

Interestingly, MGK recently caught attention after leaving a flirty comment under Megan’s Instagram post in March 2026 after her return to social media, saying, “Stoked i have your phone number.” 👀

According to the source, “Even after they broke up, he was still leaving those flirty comments on her Instagram, and it felt like he was trying to get her attention,” but Megan reportedly wants to avoid giving their past relationship another chance: “From Megan’s perspective, it’s like, ‘We tried, it didn’t work, and I’ve moved on.'”

Despite everything, the source claims Megan has nothing against Dakota and wishes them well: “It’s not that she has anything against Dakota. Actually, it’s the opposite. Megan genuinely hopes things work out between them.”

She is reportedly focused on raising her children – daughter Saga Blade Fox-Baker, born March 27, 2025, with MGK, plus three sons with ex Brian Austin Green – and building her career.

Megan and MGK got engaged in January 2022 but later ended their engagement in late 2024 while she was pregnant.
